About On the Beach
On the Beach are an online travel agency in the UK. For over 10 years, On the Beach have been dedicated to finding affordable holidays to suit individual needs and budgets. Unlike most online travel agencies, On the Beach does not sell package holidays, instead allowing you to create your own- tailored to your needs. With a broad list of destinations, over 50 million flight seats and more than 30,000 hotels, you’re sure to find something you like. Since 2012, On the Beach has been providing a 24 hour in-resort support service which provides customers with a point of contact within their resorts at some of the most popular destinations, should you need to speak to someone regarding a pressing issue.
Until recently, On the Beach focused on providing short haul beach holidays to destinations such as Spain, the Canary Islands, Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt. However, recently the company has decided to shift towards providing holidays to medium-long haul destinations such as Goa in India, Phuket in Thailand and Florida in America. Despite the distance of these destinations, the holidays are still affordable. In the future, On the Beach hopes to expand into more long haul destinations thanks to incessant requests from customers to include the likes of Australia. The company also provides once in a lifetime holidays to exotic destinations such as the Maldives and Seychelles- again for an affordable price.
On the Beach works with several in-resort partners to provide the best service every moment of your holiday. For example, On the Beach Transfers works with local firms in your resort to provide coach shuttle transfers, private minibus transfers for large groups or even a taxi service, so you can choose your transfer based on your needs.
The company also knows that when you book a holiday circumstances can change. For example, if you book a hotel and then see that the reviews on Trip Advisor aren’t so good, you can request a change in accommodation. If someone in your party cannot travel, you can remove them from your booking through the website. Or, if in the worst circumstance, you need to cancel your booking entirely, On the Beach can help you do this as easily as possible. You can also request wheelchair assistance should one of your party need this in order to travel.
